Sandy Ziegler is a mixed-media painter and real estate professional whose passion for interior design and all things elegant and beautiful led her to creating beautiful spaces and fine art pieces just for you. Sandy got her master's degree in June of 2017 in Organizational Leadership. In August of 2017, while driving home from shopping, Sandy was hit from behind while sitting on an off ramp and her seat belt failed, driving her head into the steering wheel at approximately 50 miles an hour. There is no logical explanation why she survived, or why the seatbelt didn't work. However, Sandy was so dizzy that she was unable to work, drive, or be anywhere that was noisy, busy, or brightly lit. It took over two years of working with doctors and a year of physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy to recover enough to drive a car and consider working in any type of part-time capacity. (Going to the grocery store for an hour was enough to set her back for several days!) At that time, she asked herself "What can I do?" and the answer was, she could be in someone's home and have a conversation with one person. That was it! So, she took on the task of getting her real estate license, thinking that she could just drive and work with clients very locally. Immediately after getting her license in February of 2020, Covid hit (everything shut down), and back she went to the couch she'd been sitting on for the last two years! (Seriously, folks, you can't make this stuff up.)
Since the accident, Sandy has continued asking herself "What can I do?" and believes that is the most important question any of us can ask when faced with trials and unexpected circumstances. Sandy sold many homes (over 80!!) during her resale real estate work and has transitioned to selling new homes. She is excited to pass along her knowledge to you (check out the blog). Sandy is passionate about upward communication in organizations and encouraging others not to give up during trials.
